DELIVER

Benchmark Collective expanded the DELIVER sales team's reach and provided account management support for vendors and buyers across two simultaneous event formats.

%

Of revenue rebooked

DELIVER's new Commercial Director, Adam Gough, was determined to introduce onsite rebooking at the 2021 event to secure early revenue commitment for 2022. With a compressed sales cycle and an audience entirely new to the concept of rebooking, he needed a specialist to both design the strategy and execute it at pace.

Benchmark were asked to consult on the rebook approach, build a capable team and take complete ownership of the project — allowing the core DELIVER team to focus on the broader commercial and growth agenda.

What we delivered

  • Rebook strategy consultancy with the Commercial Director, creating the approach from the ground up
  • Sales team expansion — Benchmark embedded alongside the existing DELIVER sales team
  • Account management support for DELIVER vendors and buyers throughout the event
  • End-to-end rebook project ownership, including team build and day-to-day management
  • Clear exhibitor communications and first-come, first-served location selection process
  • Over 80% of revenue rebooked across two days — an exceptional first-edition result

I was really pleased to be able to involve the Benchmark Collective team in my new role as Commercial Director at Deliver. Having worked with the team in a previous business, I knew I could rely on them to deliver the best rebook service to our Deliver vendors and achieve the exceptional results I hoped for. Evolving Deliver and realising my commercial plan needed the experts and so Benchmark Collective were the obvious choice.
